The Emerald Escape is our signature half-day, and it moves at exactly the pace a proper spa day should. Over roughly three and a half hours you receive a 60-minute full-body relaxation massage from a registered massage therapist, a 60-minute Dermalogica Pro-Calm facial, and your choice of one deluxe nail service, with a full meal from our bistro sitting in the middle of it all.
The massage is genuine therapeutic work rather than a token rub, so tension in the shoulders and lower back has time to release. The Pro-Calm facial is built for sensitive and reactive skin, using the Dermalogica Pro-Calm system to settle irritation and redness. For nails you choose between the Volcano Pedicure, with its bubbling soak, exfoliation, mask, hot towels, massage and gel or shellac polish, or the Emerald Deluxe Manicure, which covers shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, mask, hand massage and polish. Nail art is not included in either.
It suits anyone who wants more than a single appointment but cannot give up a whole day: a birthday for one, a mother and daughter afternoon, a thank-you gift, or a long-overdue reset after a heavy quarter at work. Guests travel to us from across Sherwood Park, Strathcona County, Fort Saskatchewan and greater Edmonton, and the half-day format works comfortably around a drive in.
At $370 the value sits in the depth of it. You are getting an RMT hour, a professional Dermalogica skin treatment and a deluxe nail service, plus breakfast or lunch, snacks, herbal teas, infused waters and mocktails throughout. Insurance receipts are available for the RMT massage, so part of the day may be recoverable through your benefits plan.
How your visit unfolds

Arrival and welcome
Morning guests check in at 9:30 am, afternoon guests at 1:15 pm. You settle in, we talk through your treatment order and any skin or pressure preferences, and your first drink arrives.

60-minute RMT relaxation massage
A full hour of full-body work with a registered massage therapist, focused on easing tension and improving circulation. Tell us at booking if you would like to be billed directly.

60-minute Dermalogica Pro-Calm facial
A calming, professional-grade facial for sensitive skin, using cooling technique and soothing ingredients to reduce visible redness and leave skin comfortable.

Your deluxe nail service
Either the Volcano Pedicure or the Emerald Deluxe Manicure, each a multi-step treatment finishing in gel or shellac polish. Nail art is not part of this package.

Bistro meal and a slow finish
Breakfast for the morning session or lunch for the afternoon, chosen from a fresh seasonal menu, followed by unhurried time with tea, infused water or a mocktail before you head home.

Good to know
Can I claim the massage through my benefits?
Yes, the 60-minute relaxation massage is performed by a registered massage therapist and insurance receipts are available. If you would prefer direct billing, tell us when you book so we can set it up in advance.
What should I bring?
Very little. Come as you are and we provide robes and everything needed for your treatments. If you are having a pedicure, open-toed shoes are handy for the drive home.
Does this work as a gift?
It is, particularly for birthdays, Mother's Day and milestone thank-yous. The recipient chooses their own session time and their preferred nail service when they book.
Is nail art included?
No, the nail service covers shaping, care, massage and gel or shellac polish, but nail art is not included. You are welcome to ask about adding it separately when you book.
