Hydrotherapy (15 Minutes)
A short, restorative soak to warm the muscles and settle the mind. The ideal way to begin a treatment, or a quick reset on its own.
Warm-water hydrotherapy to loosen tired muscles and slow the day down, on its own or before a treatment.
A short, restorative soak to warm the muscles and settle the mind. The ideal way to begin a treatment, or a quick reset on its own.
Fifteen minutes in warm water, and very little else. You lower in, the heat finds your shoulders, and the day you walked in with starts to loosen its grip. It is a short soak with a clear purpose: to take the tension out of your body before someone else's hands go anywhere near it.
This length suits the person arriving straight from work or from a drive in off the Sherwood Park Freeway, still carrying the traffic in their neck. At $15 it is the smallest thing you can add to a booking and still feel the difference, because a therapist working on warm, softened muscle gets further in the same hour than one starting cold.
Book it in the quarter hour before a massage or facial and you arrive at the treatment table already halfway relaxed. On its own it is brisk, so if you want time to properly drift rather than simply warm up, look at the 30 minute soak instead.
What to expect
- 1
Straight in
We show you where to change and leave you to it. No long consultation, because the point of fifteen minutes is that all fifteen belong to you.
- 2
The soak
Warm water, low light, and quiet. Most people spend the first few minutes still thinking about their day and the rest not thinking about much at all.
- 3
Out and onward
You dry off, take a glass of water, and either head home loose or move through to your next treatment with your muscles already warm.
Why guests love it
- Warms and softens tight muscle so massage work goes deeper in the same appointment time
- Encourages circulation after a cold commute or a long stretch at a desk
- Slots neatly into a lunch hour or the gap before another booking
- $15 is the gentlest way to try hydrotherapy before committing to a longer session
- Eases the shoulder and lower back tightness that builds over a working day
Hydrotherapy is the natural way to begin a spa day. Add a massage, a facial or time in the bistro and make an afternoon of it.
Good to know
Is fifteen minutes actually long enough to feel anything?
Yes, though be clear about what it does. Fifteen minutes warms the body and takes the edge off tight shoulders. It is a warm-up rather than a full unwind, which is exactly why it works so well as an add-on.
Should I book this or the 30 minute soak?
Choose 15 if the soak is a preparation for something else, such as a massage or facial booked right after. Choose 30 if the soak is the reason you came, because that is the length where the mind properly slows down rather than just the muscles.
How do I add it before another treatment?
Book both through our online scheduler and place the hydrotherapy in the slot immediately before your massage or facial. If the timings look tight on screen, give us a call and we will line them up for you.
