Hydrotherapy (30 Minutes)
A half-hour in warm, moving water to loosen tight muscles and encourage circulation before your treatment, or simply to slow the day down.
Warm-water hydrotherapy to loosen tired muscles and slow the day down, on its own or before a treatment.
A half-hour in warm, moving water to loosen tight muscles and encourage circulation before your treatment, or simply to slow the day down.
Half an hour is where a soak stops being a warm-up and becomes an actual pause. The first ten minutes your body settles. The next ten your breathing slows without you deciding to slow it. By the last stretch you have usually lost track of how long you have been in, which is the whole idea.
This is the length most of our guests land on, and for good reason: it is long enough to genuinely unwind and short enough to fit into an ordinary Tuesday. Thirty minutes, $30, no rush and no clock-watching. It reads as a treat without becoming an event you have to plan your week around.
Guests come through from Fort Saskatchewan, Beaumont and across Strathcona County for exactly this, sometimes on its own and sometimes bookended with a facial. If you have never tried hydrotherapy and are not sure how much you want, start here.
What to expect
- 1
Settle in
You change, we point you to your robe and towels, and you take your time getting in. Nobody hurries this part.
- 2
The middle stretch
Warm water, low light, and roughly twenty uninterrupted minutes. This is the section people describe afterwards as the bit where they stopped thinking about their to-do list.
- 3
Come back slowly
We give you a few minutes to sit, dry off and drink some water rather than pushing you straight out the door. Warm muscles do better with a gentle landing.
Why guests love it
- Long enough for warmth to reach the deeper, stubborn tension across the back and hips
- The quiet stretch where breathing genuinely settles, not just the body
- Sits comfortably inside a lunch break or an evening after work
- $30 makes it repeatable, so it can be a monthly habit rather than a one-off
- Pairs well with a facial afterwards, when skin is warm and receptive to a moisturiser
Hydrotherapy is the natural way to begin a spa day. Add a massage, a facial or time in the bistro and make an afternoon of it.
Good to know
Why do most people pick this over the shorter or longer soak?
It is the balance point. Fifteen minutes prepares the body but ends before the mind catches up, while an hour asks for a properly clear afternoon. Thirty minutes gives you a real unwind on a normal day, so it becomes the one people rebook.
Is it worth stepping up to the 60 minute session?
If you have the afternoon and want to switch off completely, yes, and the maths favours it: an hour is $45 while two thirty minute soaks come to $60. On a busy day, thirty minutes remains the sensible choice.
What should I bring?
Very little. Swimwear if you prefer it, and a hair tie if you would rather keep your hair dry. Robes and towels are here, and there is somewhere secure for your things.
